Vendor Tent Notice

Vendors must provide and properly secure their own tents.
All tents must comply with Ontario Building & Fire Code requirements.
Tent materials must meet applicable flame-resistance requirements.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring their setup is safe and compliant.

Official Policy: Event Cancellation and Vendor Amendment Terms

Dear Confirmed Vendors,

This email contains an important update regarding our event cancellation and scheduling amendment policies for the Ajax Vendor Market.

Please review these terms carefully, as they apply to all upcoming market dates.

Organizer-Initiated Cancellations
In the event that the organizers cancel a market date prior to or on the day of the scheduled event due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, vendors who have booked and paid in full for that date will be offered two options:

• A complimentary transfer to an alternative market date.

• A full refund of the booking fees paid for that day.

Vendor-Initiated Amendments and Cancellations

If the event proceeds as scheduled but you choose to amend or cancel your booking, the following notice periods apply:

• Refund Requests: Must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the event start time to receive a full refund.

• Date Transfers: Must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the event start time to transfer your booking to a new date.

Please note that any cancellation or transfer requests received after these designated deadlines will result in the forfeiture of your booking fees and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

We greatly appreciate your continued partnership and cooperation in keeping our market operations running smoothly.

Food Vendor Compliance Requirement

Upon acceptance of your food vendor application, you must apply for the required permit from the Durham Region Health Department no later than 45 days prior to your booth’s scheduled setup date.
